Please join us on Wednesday, February 22 for Ash Wednesday worship.  At 11 a.m., we will gather in the chancel of the sanctuary for an intimate worship service with communion and the imposition of ashes.  At 6:30 p.m., we'll gather in Fellowship Hall for a soup supper, then worship together at 7:30 p.m.  The service will include choir music, communion, a homily by Rev. Moore, and the imposition of ashes.  We hope that you can begin the Lenten journey with us on Wednesday.

On Sunday, January 29 during our Annual Meeting, the congregation of St. Paul's voted to accept the following resolution:

Together, we share the joy of discipleship and service to God with all who desire to join in the life of our Church.  God created each of us. As recipients of God's grace and love, unearned and freely given, we are called to love the Lord our God with all our heart, with all our soul and with all our strength, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. We celebrate every person as a child of God created in God’s image.  We welcome people of every age, economic status, ethnic origin, gender, marital status, mental and physical ability, political affiliation, and sexual orientation. Accordingly, we the members of the St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Downers Grove, declare ourselves to be an Open and Affirming congregation.
